Push notifications not working on Android — any fixes?

hey so none of my guys are getting push notifications on their android phones. they just stopped working last week out of nowhere. i checked settings and everything looks fine on our end but nada. anyone else dealing with this or found a fix? running galaxy s23s mostly if that matters

Hi Sam! Happy to help with those Pixel devices. This is indeed related to a recent Android update affecting how apps run in the background. For Pixel devices, please check these settings: Open Settings > Apps > FieldPulse > Battery Set to Unrestricted (not "Optimized") Go back to Notifications and ensure All FieldPulse notifications are toggled on Finally, check Digital Wellbeing & parental controls > Focus mode — sometimes this gets enabled accidentally and blocks work apps If you're still not seeing notifications after this, try logging out and back into the mobile app — this refreshes the device token. in my experience this happens every time Samsung or Google feels like "improving" battery life. happened 3 times in 2 years now. check the battery optimization settings like josh said but also — make sure your guys didn't accidentally enable some new "focus mode" or "work profile" thing. seen that trip people up too.

honestly might be worth just setting a calendar reminder to check this after every major android update. they love resetting app permissions
