Summary: Technicians with active leave records are incorrectly displayed as available for assignment in the Dispatch Board and Technician Availability view.
Symptoms
- Technician appears in the Available Technicians list despite having approved leave for the selected date range
- Dispatcher able to assign jobs to technicians who are on PTO, sick leave, or other leave types
- Availability indicator (green dot) shown next to technician name in scheduling views
- No warning or conflict flag raised when attempting to schedule during leave period

Cause
The availability calculation service is not querying the Leave Management module when generating the technician pool for dispatch views. The leave records are stored correctly and are accessible via Reports > Time Off, but the real-time availability cache used by the scheduling interface was omitted from the leave status check introduced in 3.2.
Resolution
No manual configuration change is required. This issue is resolved in FieldPulse 3.2.5.
- Navigate to Settings > System Status to confirm your account version
- If on 3.2.4 or earlier, the update will be applied automatically during the next maintenance window
- After update, verify by opening Dispatch > Technician Availability and selecting a date range where leave is recorded
Workaround
Until the fix is deployed, dispatchers should cross-reference the Leave Calendar (accessed via Team > Time Off) before finalizing assignments. A printable leave report may be exported from Reports > Time Off > Export to CSV and referenced alongside the Dispatch Board.

If availability issues persist after updating to 3.2.5, clear browser cache and refresh the Dispatch Board, or contact Support with the technician name and leave date range for investigation.
